Clouds Are Beautiful!

Everyone loves the big puffy clouds but I have a new appreciation for the low lying clouds that until this weekend I have taken for granted. People that live near the coast are accustomed to seeing clouds often, especially in the mornings. Many times visitors from other areas get upset when they see the clouds when they are visiting the beach because they think "oh no, this is not going to be a sunny day!" These clouds are a godsend! When the low-lying clouds are hugging the coast our natural air conditioning is back and life is good again. Yes, the sun will come out eventually today but in the meantime the air is cool, the humidity is low and I am loving my city once again. Life is good!

FOr the Loe of God WHen Will It Get Cool?

Today marks day 8 of temperatures over 95 at my house. Actually today by 12:30 it was 106 on the patio and 97 in the house. I cannot express how much I HATE THE HEAT! I was brought up in the desert and I hated it then and vowed when I left I'd never be hot again! Most days life is grand but for me when it's hot I'm the biggest crank. I'm actually looking forward to going back to work in the morning so I can have a/c all day. I will not complain about the cold for one minute this winter - ha like we have real cold here!
Off to get an ice hat -that's about the only thing that brings relief!
